You’ve stumbled upon this blog about, you guessed it: film. I’m not a film graduate, I just really love film. I like to think that I know something about film and that something is something I want to share with the world. That’s why I created this blog. Here you’re able to find numerous articles in which I dive deeper into the technical aspects of film and analyze some of the best films.

But I should talk a bit more about myself on this page since it’s called About me. So who am I? Well, I do like to keep myself quite anonymous, so I’ll describe myself really vaguely:). I’m a male and am still studying, so don’t expect daily uploads. Two a week is pretty hard to sustain, sorry if I ever fail to do that. I’m also not a native English speaker, which means that there’ll be a lot of grammatical flaws in my posts accompanied with simple spelling mistakes since sometimes I forget to press a certain letter on my keyboard.  Weird, I know. My favorite movie director’s Christopher Nolan and my favorite screenplay writer is Aaron Sorkin. Not only am I interested in film, I also love to read. Stephen King is my favorite writer, but if I want a quick, easy to read, but original thriller I’ll reach for a David Baldacci book. Sadly though, his most recent books have failed to amaze me, since they’re trying too hard to be different.  I also write short stories myself in my free time and once in a while I get the sudden urge to write the screenplay for a short movie. Those scripts will most likely never be filmed, which is probably for the better. Lately, I’ve become more interested in poetry so maybe sometime in the future, I’ll start to write poems as well.
I’m also a fan of music and mostly listen to rock/punk music. The bands to which I listen to the most are Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Joy Division and Foo Fighters.  But sometimes I also like to listen to The Sex Pistols, The Verve, U2, Simon and Garfunkel… I do not write music myself, because I don’t have any talent whatsoever in writing, singing or composing songs.
